This page is maintained by Aovigo to explain the data the app uses. It is a starting draft you should have reviewed.
Account: name, email or phone number, language, country, and an emergency contact if you add one.
Travel and stays: searches, bookings, seats, the traveller or guest names you enter, meeting and drop-off points, check-in and check-out dates, reviews.
Messaging: the messages and attachments you exchange with a driver, host or support.
Operators and hosts: verification documents (identity, licence or registration, insurance), vehicle and property photos, and payout details (bank, debit card or mobile money account).
To create and run your account, process bookings and payments, issue QR tickets and confirmations, verify drivers, hosts and their listings, calculate rewards points, release earnings, and provide safety and support.
Travellers see the operator's or host's name, photo, verification status and rating, plus the listing photos. For trips, the vehicle colour and plate are also shown.
The driver or host of your booking sees the traveller or guest names, the number of seats or people, the dates and the contact details on the booking.
Your verification documents and payout details stay private and are only seen by the review team.
Card payments are processed by our payment provider; mobile payments by the relevant mobile money operator. Aovigo does not store full card numbers.
Payout details you save are used only to pay you and are shared with the provider that executes the transfer.
Booking data is kept as long as needed for receipts, disputes and accounting duties. Verification documents and payout details are kept while operator or host status is active. Messages tied to a booking are kept with that booking.
You can view and edit your information in your profile, and delete your account from Profile › Edit profile. For an export or any question: support@aovigo.com.
